Our Story

Founded in Lagos, Laylo began as a small studio devoted to a single question — how does a piece of clothing hold the memory of the hands that made it? Our answer lives in every seam of our linen shirts, in the weave of our picnic bags, in the arc of a kitten heel.

We work in small runs, with a considered palette of forest green, honey gold and cream. Every garment is cut, sewn and finished within a few miles of our atelier. Nothing is mass-produced; nothing is rushed.

Laylo is for the woman — and the man — who dresses slowly. Who chooses a piece and lives with it. We hope you find something here that becomes a companion.
